Our stay was really nice. Everything was perfect. Personnel was efficient. The room was very large with a comfortable bed. A great selection of facilities was available, including a safe box, multi-channel television, and a mini fridge bar. The hotel is located in the very central location in the Center of Burgdorf.

This is a hotel with very professional service. The room was perfect, very big, we could work there all the afternoon. I was going to visit someone at Burgdorf, but it's a good hotel even if you want to see Bern or other cities, because you are very near the station of the village.You can't leave the hotel without trying the Burgdorfer, the beer they produce here at the town. You can taste it at the bar of the hotel. Very good to hang out for a while. The day we were there we went down to have breakfast a little late and they waited for us to finish. We are very satisfied.

The units at Hotel Berchtold are airy and silent with enough supplies. the location is great, just minutes away from Museum Franz Gertsch. Plus, there is a fabulous restaurant only a 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My colleague and I ate in the restaurant that evening, I chose from the menu provided in English and asked if my choice (chosen from the Swiss section of the menu) contained egg (I have an allergy). The waitress went off to check and returned to say yes (the pork was coated I breadcrumbs, but the chef would bind the bread crumbs to the pork with cream. The portions were large and beautifully presented and tasted great. Certainly recommend this hotel
